Set-up & Playability: Excellent - like maybe the best 100+ year old instrument I have ever played. 
Case: Comes with original gig bag, it is kinda terrible, but so crazy that it still has it. 

I bought this mandolin a long time ago, and I put off the project for a long time because I thought it was going to be a huge project. Turns out it only took me like two hours, thing was super structurally sound. I likely will learn nothing from this experience, but the mandolin came out so awesome that I do not care. 

Seriously, I am stunned by how well this thing looks and plays. It is really is a stunning piece of history and a great playing and sounding instrument to be like 132 years old.

As always, we cleaned it up, polished the finish, changed the strings, performed all routine maintenance and set the action low and smooth. All of our packages are packed tight enough to survive the apocalypse and we insure every parcel for the full purchase amount.
