Here for sale is a project that was put together by a really good friend of mine (who also happens to be lowkey one of the best luthiers in greater Nashville, if not the country) Chad Winn. If you don't follow Chad on Instagram, give him a follow at @cwinnstrings. He is the GUY TO KNOW for all things Jerry-gear and he is one of my brain-trusted looths that I contact when a project has me up against a wall.
I got the Mighty Mite maple / rosewood neck and solid mahogany body in a couple weeks ago. It was missing basically all the parts, just a body and a neck, and I knew it would be perfect for one of Chad's infamous Gator conversions.
Here is a list of specs from the man himself:
"
Fernandes ‘90s MIJ pickups
25k volume
250k tone
ADR Pedals Alligator Boost wired “Always On”
Mighty Mite neck
"
Jack would add: Fender tuners, bone nut and all the classic brass fixtures.
The real shining point of this thing is the ADR Pedals AlligatorBoost, which sounds AMAZING. This guitar is warm and rounded in tone, and it works great for tasty jam licks, but it is also all-around just a good and versatile guitar that would work well for a lot of genres and would be an ideal "secret weapon" in the studio. I really cannot speak highly enough of Chad and his work and this guitar is no exception. If you are into the Dead, or you just want a warm strat with a mid-range response, this is the guitar for you.
As always, we cleaned it up, polished the finish, flushed the electronics, changed the strings, performed all routine maintenance and set the action low and smooth. All of our packages are packed tight enough to survive the apocalypse and we insure every parcel for the full purchase amount.
Got questions? Shoot me a message, I love nerding out with other gearheads!
