Univox Gimme Single Cut Lawsuit Era Electric Guitar w/ HSC & Gibson Pat No. Mini Humbucker (1975ish - Cherryburst)

GIMME GIMME GIMME; I NEED SOME MORE!

GIMME GIMME GIMME (don't ask what for.)

Imagine a guitar from a time not so long ago, a guitar created in a less litigious time...for your consideration, an "Single Cut" copy from the Lawsuit Era.  This one was made by Matsumoku in Japan and carries the Univox headstock name. A lot of people call these the "Gimme" Univox.

This thing plays great. Some past owner replaced the bridge pickup with a Gibson Pat. No Mini-Humbucker and that pickup alone is worth a good few hundos - it also sounds great. The bridge is super chunky and the neck pickup is super FAT.

The action is low and comfortable. There are a few scratches and dings, but nothing too serious, and overall it just adds to the character of the guitar. The light "relic" of this thing is simply to die for. Overall, this thing just OOZES mojo. It really has an attractive looking patina to it, and it plays like a dream. The guitar is hefty, but not a back breaker for being solid mahogany.

As always, we cleaned it up, polished the finish, oiled the board, flushed the electronics, changed the strings and set the action as low and smooth. Comes with a super nice vintage hardshell case that is "Vantage" branded (also Japanese). I pack my guitars up tight and insure every package for the full purchase amount.

Got questions? Shoot me a message, I love nerding out with other gearheads!
