Kingston/Teisco MIJ 2 Pickup Offset (1970s - Redburst)

FUNKY KINGSTON!

Here for sale is a surfy little number from Kingston by way of Matsumoku. Made in Japan in the 1960s.

This thing is in pretty good shape. It plays great, the action is low and comfortable and the one gold foil pickup sounds crisp and shimmery. The P-90 style pickups are hot these days and sound fantastic. The only damage is the to-be-expected finish checking that occurred on the top. No structural damage, whatsoever. Plays and sounds great, the tremolo system still glides.

As always, I cleaned it up, polished the finish, oiled the board, flushed the electronics, changed the strings and set the action as low as I could.  This guitar is proudly strung with Stringjoy Custom Guitar Strings, made right here in Nashville, TN. This guitar has no case or gig bag, but I pack my guitars up tight and insure every package for the full sale amount.
