Introducing Lazarus Guitars from Jack's Guitarcheology!

Lazarus Guitars are upcycled guitars that use yesteryear's best guitar parts to build new unique guitars for today's players. Often in our guitarcheological work, we will find guitar parts that just "have it." We take the best of these parts and rework, refinish and / or redo them into one-of-a-kind projects.

Each Lazarus project is themed, this one is named after Midas, the gold guy. Cause, ya know, gold.

Here is the nitty gritty:

The body was a Korean Squier body from the late 1980s. The body was refinished and relic'd by yours truly. I used standard rattlecan, but I treated it as you would if you were spraying Nitro: level sanding between each coat, and clear coating the last coat. I have been calling this one the "Midas" because, ya know, gold.

The pickups are: Seymour Duncan Invader Humbucker Bridge, Original 1980s Korean Fender-make single coil middle, and modern Artec rails. The pickguard is anodized black aluminum, and the guitar is wired with one volume, one tone and a momentary killswitch / stutter-switch mod.

The neck is a 2 pc Maple / Indian Rosewood that came off of a 2000s Fender Starcaster (the Strat® style ones, not the hollowbody.) It feels great and worn in, but not beat to hell. The neck is Fender licensed / produced with the Fender headstock. The tuners are Guyker locking 10mm tuners. We also painted the headstock black to match the pickguard and relic'd the neck to match the rest of the guitar. We leveled and buffed the frets, rounded ends and basically reworked the frets and fretboard.  The action is great, and this is really a great playing guitar. Would be super great for all of your rock n' roll needs.

As always, we cleaned it up, polished the finish, flushed the electronics, changed the strings, performed all routine maintenance and did anything this guitar needed to play the absolute best it can. All of our packages are packed tight enough to survive the apocalypse and we insure every parcel for the full purchase amount.

Got questions? Shoot me a message, I love nerding out with other gearheads!
