Introducing Lazarus Guitars from Jack's Guitarcheology!

Lazarus Guitars are upcycled guitars that use yesteryear's best guitar parts to build new unique guitars for today's players. Often in our guitarcheological work, we will find guitar parts that just "have it." We take the best of these parts and rework, refinish and / or redo them into one-of-a-kind projects. 

Each Lazarus project is themed, this one is Circe, after the goddess of herbs and potions. 

Here is the nitty gritty:

• 1980s - 1990s Basswood S-Style Body, unknown make. Stashed it back a while ago because it was an exceptionally nice and light piece of BW. As the guitar wears, the Midnight Metallic Blue will pop though. Should look really neat as the guitar ages more!
• The neck is also vintage - 1970s - 1980s. Looks like it might be, or might have been emulating, an early Charvel neck. 1 pc Maple with rosewood inlays. 
• Loaded Fender MIJ Tortoise Shell pickguard. Not sure exactly what pickups these are, but they sound like a '60s set to me. 
• 1980s - 1990s Kluson tuners
• 1990s Fender bridge
• Stringjoy Strings and a good, pro setup!

As always, we cleaned it up, polished the finish, flushed the electronics, changed the strings, performed all routine maintenance and did anything this guitar needed to play the absolute best it can. All of our packages are packed tight enough to survive the apocalypse and we insure every parcel for the full purchase amount.
