Notes: Here for sale is a project with a bit of a back story. 

A while back, I got a bunch of guitars traded in from a man I called Hoss, his real name is Doug. Here is original copy from one of those listings:

This one of my new regulars, let's call him Hoss. Hoss is approaching 80 years old, and for the past 20-30 years, he has been buying cheaper guitars (primarily Jay Tursers, etc) and upgrading the electronics, hardware, etc to make them all really exceptional guitars.

Since he is getting old, for medical reason he has had to move in with his daughter. As such, he is pairing down all of his old tinker projects. He and his daughter have been coming in once a week and selling me 3-4 supped up Jay Tursers or similar quality factory bangers.

As I have been cleaning them up and setting them up, I have been impressed with Hoss' work. He would have made a good guitar tech in another life (he was an English teacher by trade). I rarely ever had to fix a solder joint or touch anything up. Just clean, string, set up and good to go!

 Well, unfortunately Doug's memory health has taken a turn for the worse and he can no longer play the guitar, take care of himself, etc. It is a pretty sad story. His daughter asked if I would buy the rest of his collection to help the family with momory care, and how I could I say no. 

I have been getting these guitars fixed up and back into fighting shape for Doug - as I know he would want them to be out there in the world. It is the least I can do for my customer who became a friend.
