How to play the Tanpulyra

Ganesh Tanpura Lyre or Tanpulyra

This instrument has a lyre section (melody) and a Tanpura section (bass tones). Due to this combination, it is a very complete instrument. Easy and intuitive to play.

Dimensions: approximately 95 x 40 cm.

Basically you pluck the tampura side strings and they create a drone note, and you play the melodies on the lyra / zither side.
