This is a post-Lawsuit era Memphis from the early 1980s. Now let's hear from Specs Correspondent Ollie Williams, Ollie? "NECK & BODY BACK SANDED TO SATIN. DIMARZIO SUPER DISTORTION IN BRIDGE & A BIGSBY B7." Thank you, Ollie. Seriously, the only downside is the way the back of the body has been sanded satin, but hey, it is the back of the body and the satin neck feels great!

This one is in on consignment from my largest consignor, let's call him Rambo, as he prefers to remain anon. Rambo is a local collector and audio engineer / producer. I think I currently have about 20 of his guitars on consignment; and he keeps bringing more in every week. It is all good stuff so I have trouble saying "no" to Rambo -- also he is a pretty competent tech; so his gear is well maintained. Like all my consignments, this one is being sold "as described" regardless of condition.

Functionally, this thing is one of the best single cut electrics we have had in the store. Dunno what it is about it, but it just has THE MOJO. At least two of my guys are contemplating taking it home. As always, I cleaned it up, polished the finish, flushed the electronics, changed the strings and set the action low and smooth. Comes with a "Gibson" case that may or may not be actually Gibson, but it is really nice either way. I pack my guitars up tight and insure every package for the full purchase amount.
