Hockin Guitars USA Single Cut Standard w/ RailHammer HBs & TSA HSC (2020s - Cherry Sunburst)
Locally made and locally played!
Here is a really nice Hockin Guitars single cut style that was made in Spring Hill, TN, just about a 50 minute drive from our store. Original owner said that he bought it, played it once and never got it back out and I believe him, because the guitar is immaculate. The RailHammers are AWESOME. I have really been digging those pickups lately. They are high output, but maintain a good clarity, even at high volumes.
The overall build quality is solid, hardware all seems pretty good quality. I was sort of surprised how cheap these were comparative to similar builds from competitive companies. The guitar is comprised of solid tonewoods (mahogany, maple, Indian rosewood) - and the maple on the top has a really nice flame. If you are looking for a solid single cut that absolutely growls, you won't be disappointed in this guy.
As always, we cleaned it up, polished the finish, flushed the electronics, changed the strings and set the action low and smooth. This guitar has ~$200 TSA molded hardshell case, and I pack my guitars up tight and insure every package for the full purchase amount.
Got questions? Shoot me a message, I love nerding out with other gearheads!
