For sale here is a Fender "Squier Series" Telecaster made in the 1990s. These MIM "Squier Series" were some of the very few made in Mexico and are regarded to be some of the most well-built Squiers that were ever made.
Functionally, this guitar is great. Everything you want out of a Tele. Classic vintage-like tele twang tone. Low action. No real damage or play-ability issues to speak of. The finish is even still clean and shiny. The frets are at half life or better. In all honesty, this is one of the best playing little Teles I have ever had.
The shining star and selling point of the guitar is the neck. This is hands down one of the most well-built and best feeling Squier necks I have ever had my mitts on. It feels more like MIJ Fender of the era, rather than MIM Squier Series Fender.
Really awesome and classic Tele. This one comes in on consignment from our very own Jude, our young ward here around the shop. Jude is a better guitar tech than most people 3xs his age, so this guitar has been really well maintained and essentially looks brand new.
Jude upgraded the electronics, bridge and knobs. This thing is a real killer now - and this is a "Factory Fire" model so it is possible it was partially assembled or set up in the US
As always, we cleaned it up, polished the finish, flushed the electronics, changed the strings, performed all routine maintenance and set the action low and smooth. All of our packages are packed tight enough to survive the apocalypse and we insure every parcel for the full purchase amount.
