Gibson Melody Maker Electric Guitar w/ OHSC & Original Pickguard (1963 - Hippie Refinish)

Here for sale is a project a long time in the making, when I got this Melody Maker, it was a bit of a husk. Had the original electronics and pickguard, but that was about it. 

Here is a short list of all the parts / upgrades: 

• WD Pickguard in Vintage Japanese style tort - comes with the original pickguard, but it is warped. 
• Vintage Leo Quan Badass Wraparound Bridge 
• Allparts Vibrola 
• Guyker No-Line 3x3 Tuners 

The original sunburst finish was obviously sanded off long ago, and it was refinished with Danish oil (or similar). We gave it a few more coats, so the finish is fresh and illustrious. 

The important takeaway here: THE PICKUPS AND ELECTRONICS ARE ALL ORIGINAL. This guitar sounds great. The neck pickup, especially, is to die for. 

I leveled, crowned and polished the frets, ran a new ground wire to the vibrola and set this thing up to kill. This is a vintage piece that you can gig with tomorrow! 

As always, we cleaned it up, polished the finish, flushed the electronics (if applicable), changed the strings, performed all routine maintenance and set the action low and smooth. All of our packages are packed tight enough to survive the apocalypse and we insure every parcel for the full purchase amount.
