Octavia - Vintage Octave Fuzz

The Octavia is an homage to the classic 1967 Roger Mayer transformer based octave fuzz design of the same name. This version adds a switch to disengage the octave sound for a more straight-forward classic transistor fuzz tone, and a control to tame the input signal to roll off some of the harsher fuzz overtones. Like most rectifying octave implementations, the octave up ringing can best be heard by playing up higher on the neck with the guitar’s tone control rolled off.
