Subsonus uses a CMOS Chip to create a synthesized octave below the input fundamental with a mini-switch to select either 1 or 2 octaves down. Using a high gain Darlington transistor for the fuzz, the Mix can be dialed from full synthy square wave octave to pure fuzz. The Filter control adjusts high frequency content - rotating clockwise removes top end.
The coolest thing about this pedal is accessed via the momentary (left) footswich - it activates Glitch mode which creates interesting glissandos as the input signal decays.
A wonderful creative too, it's easy to get lost in the fuzzy octaves.
Controls:
Volume - Adjusts Output Level
Mix - Blends in the Synthesized Octave
Filter - Reduces Upper Frequencies
Switch - Selects 1 or 2 Octaves Down
Right Footswich (UV LED) - Bypass
Left Footswitch - Activate Glitch Mode - Momentary
