YEAH! Rocks charity drive item - This guitar is being sold for YEAH!, a charity that helps teach kids how to play music and be in a band. The proceeds of this sale will go to fund summer rock camps as well as year-long programming.

Bienvenido los amigos de Jack's Guitarcheology! Este un guitarra fina, hecho en Michoacán, Mexico. (I am working on my Spanish).

Super nice and great playing Mexican traditionial guitar, made in Michoacán in a very traditional Mexican luthiery style. The bridge is off center, but it is perfectly in line with the neck, so I am guessing the offset asymmetry is a stylistic choice rather than an accident. Guitar plays great, the fretboard is as thick as a good steak.

The guitar was purchased from me and returned because the neck twisted slightly in shipping. I shimmed the saddle and got it playing again, but the notes on the lower part of the high strings are a little plinky in places. Would make a great guitar for luthiery practice - the fretboard is so thick, you could easily plane it back and refret it.

BUT AGAIN - plays as it sits.

As always, we cleaned it up, polished the finish, flushed the electronics (if applicable), changed the strings, performed all routine maintenance and set the action low and smooth. All of our packages are packed tight enough to survive the apocalypse and we insure every parcel for the full purchase amount.
