Sonny Meeker 1x15 B-Style Tube Amplifier Combo w/ Cover (1990s - Tweed)

Here for sale is a really killer amp that comes in from an estate. 

Here is an amp that was handwired by Sonny Meeker. Sonny (RIP) was a gold level amp tech at Fender, basically the amp equivilant of a master luthier. This amp is based on a Bassman, and it sounds good for both bass and guitar.

Built like a tank in 1996 by Sonny Meeker (a gold level Fender tech) and the best Hammond organ repairman around. Sadly Sonny is no longer with us. This is a great amp for beautiful clean tones and mildly overdriven tones. Takes pedals well if you're looking for more distortion, also would make a great amp for pedal steel. Tubes: 4-6L6's  & 4-12ax7's . Wooden face plate. Peavey Black Widow 15" speaker. Excellent sounding reverb. Instant Mark Knofler Tones. Selling due to health reasons. It would cost a lot to have an amp like this built as you probably know. Great condition mostly used in home studio.

This amp comes in on consignment from from a really kind widow I met recently. Her husband of 50 years passed away a couple years ago, and he left behind quite the nice selection of gear. My associate Jad and I drove out to help her sort through and prioritize the collection and give her some guidence on which items to keep and which items to sell. This is one of the items she has decided to sell. 

It is a shame that I never met her husband, as it seems we would have gotten along. He had a very unique guitar collection that was very immaculately maintained. I feel like I got to know him well poking around his music room. The proceeds from this sale will go to help out a very sweet older lady. 

All this amp needed was a cleaning, all works and sounds great.
