Without a doubt, Eric Johnson is one of the modern masters of tone. Part of his favorite lead tone is the sweet sound of classic fuzz. To get the perfect fuzz tone, Eric Johnson got together with fuzz-tone mastermind Jeorge Tripps, and together they developed the Eric Johnson Fuzz Face. Inspired by the tones of Johnson's prized Fuzz Face collection, this hot-rodded fuzz pedal uses hand-selected BC183 silicon transistors for higher gain and features custom '68-'69 knobs and a vintage-style hammertone finish for a one-of-a-kind look.
