Gretsch Electromatic 6161 Tube Amplifier w/ Cover & Original Parts (1950s - Blue-Grey Tolex)

Here for sale is a classic Gretsch 6161 amp. A regular customer is consigning it. He found it when he was cleaning out some property he owned; when he brought it in it was non-functional. There was a tube out and a couple of caps needed replaced....so naturally I took it to my friends at Nashville Amplifier Service. If you are not familiar with Todd and the team at NAS, they are likely some of the best vintage amp techs in the country. Todd nearly wrote the book on amp restoration. So, needless to say, this thing works and sounds just like brand new. 

The amp has been modernized with a grounded plug. The original caps, cable and other parts are in a bag inside the amp. Over all what you have left is a player's grade vintage amp that is ready for stage AND / OR studio. Like all my consignments, this one is being sold "as described" regardless of condition. I pack my gear up tight and insure every package for the full purchase amount.
