Get yourself an instrument that lends itself to big chords and tuneful solos alike with the Tanglewood Blackbird TWBBSFCE, an acoustic/electric guitar with a single-cutaway, super-folk design to give you access to the higher frets. As with other instruments in the company's Blackbird series, the body, neck, and sides are constructed out of to ensure a warm, yet tight sound. To ensure a quality sound, the top boasts a hand-selected piece of chosen for its tonal qualities. The 25.59" scale neck offers a techwood fingerboard and bridge, both of which sound great while carrying the extra benefit of using sustainable material for the instrument. A built-in preamp offers volume, bass, midrange, and treble controls, as well as other knobs to shape the sound. A presence control lets you cut more onstage, while the phase control helps ameliorate onstage feedback. To top it all off, a built-in tuner means you don't need to buy a separate one. To foster a classic and timeless look, the instrument utilizes ABS in the style of vintage ivory binding and is topped with a smokestack black finish.

CERTIFIED USED: This guitar is a certified second from the fine folks at MIRC. If you are unfamiliar with MIRC, they buy factory seconds directly from Fender, Gibson, etc and repair/restore/refurbish them. They are the best in the business and have been operating right here in Middle Tennessee since 1993. If the guitar has no visible finish damage, then it is likely that it just needed a minor electronics repair, or possibly, was just surplus and never had an issue at all -- an older floor model or something of the like. What I can guarantee is that this guitar is 100% functional and awesome.
