Fender Electracoustic Series JZM Deluxe Acoustic Electric Guitar w/ Replacement Neck (2007 - 3 Tone Sunburst)

What in the shoegaze is going on here?

So this is a 2007-08 precursor to the Acoustisonic series - the Fender Electracoustic series, you see, much different. These were made in Korea and are super solid quality. When this one came in, it had a cheap "Starcaster" neck on it (the cheap Strat copy, not the hollowbody), so I bought this 2010s Fender Jazzmaster neck for it on Reverb to set it back right. It plays and sounds great now - seriously, like we are all kind of shocked at how good this sounds both acoustic and electric.

The pickup has a blend where you can mix together the Tele style pickup and the piezo system, so you can really get some great sounds out of this guy. We set it up with Stringjoy Foxwood .11 Coated Acoustic Strings, so it has more of an acoustic sound. The neck is a chunkier C and feels great; Tyler says it may be one of his favorite necks he has felt in the store, despite this guitar not being his usual thing. Take it from me, that is high praise from him.

As always, we cleaned it up, polished the finish, flushed the electronics, changed the strings and set the action low and smooth. This guitar has no case or gig bag, but I pack my guitars up tight and insure every package for the full purchase amount.
