Here for sale is a bass that we are selling for Troy "Big Johnson" Johnson, who makes basses for the likes of Brian Ritchie from the Violent Femmes and more. This thing is a great standup bass alternative - the tone is LOUD AND DEEP. It really projects and resonates, a lot like a harp guitar. Play it up right, play it like a standard acoustic bass, it is really up to you! 

This one has a really rad handpainted western mural on the inside. THIS ONE IS #009. 

It was kept at another shop before us and took a few little dings and scrapes, the worst of which being a small crack in the box where the stand retracts, but I have sealed that and touched up a lot of the other spots. Functionally, this thing is amazing. No truss rod because it never needs to be adjusted due to construction. Due to the few small aesthetic dings, we are discounting this one a bit as a "floor model." The best chance to own an early Big Johnson!
